Restore AI builds software for victim service providers and the survivors they serve. People reach this website in many ways, including with screen readers, keyboards, voice control, and screen magnification. We want it to work for all of them.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA on this website. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium and are the standard most accessibility laws point to.

What we have done

  • Every link, button, menu, and form can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly outlined.
  • A “Skip to content” link is the first stop on every page for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Text and controls are checked for color contrast against Level AA.
  • Moving content can be stopped. Use “Pause animations” at the bottom of any page. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site stays still without you asking.
  • Pages use headings, landmarks, and labels so assistive technology can describe and navigate them.
  • Text can be enlarged in your browser, and pages reflow for small screens and zoom.
  • Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. Decorative photos are hidden from screen readers.

How we test

We test pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard, and we re-test when a page changes.

Known limitations

We know about the following and are working on them.

  • Animated product illustrations show sample screens. The text beside each one describes the same feature, but the individual steps in the animation are not announced by screen readers.
  • Services provided by others and linked from this site, such as our Trust Center and review pages, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
  • Our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are long documents. Use the “On this page” list to jump between sections.
