AUSTIN, Texas — Restore AI, a technology company building modern software for victim service providers, announced that Founder Jack DeWolf was named the winner of a Freedom Tech pitch competition held in Austin, Texas.
The competition featured more than 60 technology companies, with Restore AI ultimately advancing to the final round and winning against a field of mission-driven founders building in adjacent categories. The event was judged by a panel of more than 20 industry experts with experience across victim services, public safety, and related systems.
The recognition comes during a period of rapid growth for Restore AI, which has expanded meaningfully in recent weeks as more organizations seek modern infrastructure to support survivors and streamline advocate workflows.
“Winning was meaningful because the people evaluating the company understand the real-world complexity of this work,” said Jack DeWolf, Founder of Restore AI. “This was not a room judging abstract ideas. These were people close to the systems, the gaps, and the operational realities that victim advocates face every day.”
Restore AI was founded to address a longstanding technology gap in victim services. Many nonprofits, police departments, and district attorney offices still rely on outdated or fragmented systems to manage cases, communication, reporting, and survivor support. Restore AI is building a modern platform designed specifically for these environments.
The company’s momentum reflects a broader demand in the market for software that is purpose-built for victim advocacy rather than adapted from generic case management tools.
“This recognition reinforces something that has been clear from the beginning,” DeWolf added. “The need for better infrastructure in victim services is real, and the organizations doing this work deserve technology that actually supports them.”
Restore AI plans to continue partnering closely with frontline organizations as it expands its platform and deepens its presence across the victim services ecosystem.
